The rehearsals for the #Melfest Final have kicked off in Friends Arena. Today all 12 acts are going on stage preparing for the big show this saturday. At today’s press conference we had a talk with John Lundvik.
John Lundvik is a Swedish singer, songwriter, and former sprinter. Lundvik began his career as an athlete, and was a member of IFK Växjö. He later began pursuing a music career. I 2010 he composed the song “When You Tell the World You’re Mine” for the wedding of Victoria, Crown Princess of Sweden, and Daniel Westling.
Lundvik went on to compose music for musicians such as Anton Ewald, Isac Elliot, and Sanna Nielsen, in addition to composing music for the film Easy Money.
He qualified directly to the Final in Melodifestivalen 2018 with the song “My Turn”, which he co-wrote with Anna-Klara Folin and Jonas Thander.
